Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully. By utilizing RailRadar, you acknowledge and agree to our independent tracking disclaimers and operational scope.

Critical Operational Disclaimers

RailRadar is not a ticketing agency, official booking agent, or government portal. We do not facilitate IRCTC logins, passenger reservation chart access, or official PNR processing.

All coordinates, dynamic map updates, and delay indicators shown on this platform are crowd-powered telemetry and should be used as secondary travel enquiry guides only. Always consult official railway station boards for boarding and departure confirmations.

1. Acceptance & User Agreement

By opening, browsing, or utilizing the railradar.in transit tracker (or any services hosted under the RailRadar brand), you represent and warrant that you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any terms, please exit the site.

2. Legal Independence Notice

RailRadar operates entirely independently from Indian Railways, IRCTC, and the National Train Enquiry System (NTES). No official government relationships or agency affiliations exist.

All data, schedule tables, and maps are compiled using crowd-sourced telemetry and publicly accessible databases. The use of official train names, train numbers, and station names is for descriptive purposes to help sighted commuters verify their travel routes.

3. GPS Crowdsourcing & Telemetry Usage

To provide high-fidelity live train running status, we allow travelers inside the train to share voluntary GPS pings. By clicking "In Train?" and enabling GPS telemetry sharing:

  • You guarantee that the shared location coordinates are authentic, un-spoofed, and generated inside the actual train carriages.
  • You grant RailRadar an irrevocable license to process and snapped these pings onto train routes to determine live status delays for public access.
  • We guarantee that shared telemetry is entirely anonymized and is never traded or combined with third-party tracking scripts.

4. Caching Disclaimers & Data Liability

We fetch, structure, and cache static schedules and timetables of 10,000+ Indian Railway trains locally on modern devices to allow travelers with poor cellular connection to track halts offline.

Although we make significant effort to ensure schedules are verified, timetables can change due to seasonal reorganizations, track maintenance, or emergencies. RailRadar assumes no liability for missed connections, travel delays, or platform changes stemming from data mismatch.
